SAI20 South Africa
SAI20 is an engagement group of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) from countries that make up the G20. SAI20 is chaired by the SAI of the country holding the G20 presidency.
South Africa chairs the G20 presidency from 1 December 2024 through to November 2025. Therefore, SAI20 is being hosted in South Africa by the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA).
SAI20 also upholds the themes of the G20, using a variety of engagement sessions at all levels to unpack these themes in the context of SAI operations and the work that SAIs accomplish
Conferences and forum participation
Engagement is the lifeblood of progress. The AGSA actively immerses itself in conferences and forums, both locally and internationally, to champion the principles of good governance and accountability.
Governance and Technologies in a Disrupted Economy Seminar
Our esteemed Auditor-General, Tsakani Maluleke, delivered a compelling address titled "Making Governance Principles a Culture" at this seminar held at the Durban International Convention Centre. Her insights illuminated the path to embedding governance in the fabric of organisational culture.
Saica forums
Collaboration with professional bodies like the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) is integral to our mission. Through active participation in Saica forums, we exchange knowledge and refine our methodologies, ensuring that our audits meet the highest standards of quality and integrity.
