AGSA hosts Scoag at head office
On Friday, 27 March 2026, the AGSA was honoured to welcome members of the Standing Committee on the Auditor‑General (Scoag) to the head office in Pretoria. This important engagement reaffirmed the value of strong oversight and open dialogue in advancing accountability across the public sector.
The session provided an opportunity to reflect on the AGSA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen audit processes and enhance service delivery. Members were briefed on the AGSA’s digital transformation journey, highlighting how technology is enabling greater audit efficiency, generating deeper insights, and strengthening the overall impact of our work in support of a capable and accountable state.
As part of the visit, Scoag members were taken on a walk‑through of the AGSA premises and workspaces, where they had an opportunity to observe operations firsthand and engage with employees as they carried out their daily responsibilities.
